The Carolinas Bearded Collie Club wishes to welcome you and your family as owners or prospective owners of a Bearded Collie.  While we are confident that you will discover your Beardie to be everything you should hope for as a gentle, devoted family pet, we think that you should know that owning a Beardie opens a new range of enjoyable and rewarding activities.  Some of these are AKC conformation competition, obedience training and competition, herding, agility, tracking and therapy dog work.  The CBCC is an organization devoted to the development of the maximum potential of our dogs.  The Club sponsors educational programs and a variety of activities, such as "bounces," fun matches, education days and herding tests/trials.  The CBCC invites you to join us in our activities and call upon us if we can be of assistance to you.

Individual membership status entitles you to receive the newsletter, The Beardie Banner, attend club meetings and participate in club activities, as well as to have the right to vote on official club business, hold elected offices and appointed leadership positions. Joint membership status is open to two adults who are living in the same household. Each adult shall enjoy the rights and privileges of  membership. Junior membership is open to all individuals ages 10-18. Anyone interested in general information or membership should contact Meta Wasson, Secretary, 9823 Black Horse Run, Ft. Mill, SC 29715, (803) 548-7190, or e-mail her at bayshore@cetlink.net.
